What is the role of communication for development in the face of HIV / AIDS? Since the very start of the illness more than 35 years ago Communication for Development (C4D) in its many forms – from information delivery to advocacy and voice strategies- has played an important role in combating the ignorance and stigma that often surrounds the illness, and impacts people involved.
C4D approaches such as behaviour change communication and platforms like ICTs have been and continue to be used as part of HIV prevention and treatment efforts around the world.
This C4D Network topical section highlights postings from the Network about HIV/AIDS and C4D work and resources from members perspectives; as well as highlighting relevant events and news.
