C4D and Peace

The complex array of conflict settings being faced by countries highlights the stark reality that peacebuilding in general and C4D in Peacebuilding in particular, cannot remain an optional agenda within development programming. Locally articulated theories of change underlying C4D in Peacebuilding strategies are key in addressing various levels and drivers of conflict, as are strategic partnerships forged between governments, civil society organizations and community groups.

This section features resources and news about the rich diversity of C4D interventions – including both inter-personal, technological, and multi-media approaches across different levels – individual, interpersonal, community, social, institutional and policy level – that provide a window into the emerging results and contribution of C4D to Peacebuilding interventions.
