The European Union is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for a program entitled “Civil Society Facility and Media Action for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018 – CSOs to engage with election monitoring”.
The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals are:
CSOs are able to communicate the results of their activities to the public;
National and/or local authorities have enabling policies and rules for grass-roots organisations and/or civic initiatives;
CSOs monitor and evaluate the results and impact of their work;
CSOs regularly network within and outside the beneficiary;
Public institutions recognise the importance of CSOs in improving good governance;
Fund-raising activities are rooted in CSOs’ long-term strategic plans and the core mission of the organisation;
All individuals and legal entities can express themselves freely, assemble peacefully and establish, join and participate in non-formal and/or registered organisations.
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit-making and
- be a civil society organisation and
- be established in Bosnia and Herzegovina and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
