She has recently won for her organisation (C4D Ltd) the framework agreement with UNICEF C4D Division to be a preferred vendor for C4D capacity development and she has designed and been delivering webinars on C4D topics in partnership with UNICEF since 2010. Through the C4D Network she has also been providing extensive training and capacity development support in communication for development to donors, NGOs, UN agencies and many others.
She has worked extensively in South East Europe, Africa and Asia – delivering communication programmes and projects, as well as consulting in evaluation, strategy, and capacity development. Work in South East Europe has included the development of a regional NGO portal and a regional audio exchange project linking radio stations in Kosova, Albania, Serbia, Croatia and BH. Clients have included UN agencies, NGOs, media organisations and funders including DFID, World Bank, UNESCO, Oxfam, Plan, Internews, BBC and others. Development areas that have been of particular focus include health and climate change.
Jackie is now focusing on developing the C4D Network further, providing consultancy, recruitment and capacity development, and on university lecturing and research and writing.
