Sharing and Learning Together for Good Communication

This series focuses on the seven approaches of Social & Behaviour Change (SBC).

These include 1) Community Engagement, 2) Strategic Communication, 3) Behavioural Insights, 4) Service Improvement, 5) Policy Influence, 6) Systems Strengthening and 7) Social Movement.

Modules can be taken individually or together as part of an accredited course of 5 modules.

The duration is 90 minutes, with expert input, examples and opportunity for questions and discussion.

This series explores the range of valuable tools and tactics used in good communication within development, rights and humanitarian response.

These include 1) Social Norms Analysis (SNA), 2) Behaviour Change Techniques (BCTs), 3) Human Centred Design (HCD), 4) Theory of Change (TOC), 5) the Socio-Ecological Model (SEM), 6) Social Listening, 7) Data, and 8) AI.

Modules can be taken individually or together as part of an accredited course of 5 modules.

This is an introductory module with input and Q&A about the varied aspects of good communication as practiced within the ‘development - humanitarian nexus’, and where communicators, audiences and co-creators fit in.

This series examines the areas of practice under the broad umbrella of ‘Good Communication’.

These includes: : 1) Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBC), 2) Emergency & Humanitarian Communications, 3) Awareness-Raising & Knowledge, 4) Participation, Voice & Accountability, and 5) External Communications.

Modules can be taken individually or together as part of an accredited course of 5 modules.

The duration is 90 minutes, with expert input, examples and opportunity for questions and discussion.

This series celebrates and builds capacity around the many creative options for good communicators.

Modules include : 1) Creative Digital, 2) Drama & Storytelling, 3) Public Service Announcements (PSAs), 4) Radio & Audio, 5) Video & Audio-Visuals, 6) Photography & Visuals, 7) Public Space Art & Expression, 8) Music.

This course is strongly focused on building practical and informed good communication skills. It is centrally about design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of good communication interventions.

It is for those who want to gear-up with their good communication practice, and to build knowledge and confidence in being skilled practitioners in the fields of SBC, Awareness-Raising, Advocacy and more.

This series of modules focuses on applying ‘good communication’ principles and approaches to specific sectors.

Modules include: 1) Health, 2) Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), 3) Education, 4) Social Protection, 5) Peace & Social Cohesion, 6) Inclusion & Disability, 7 & 8) Rural & Urban Development, 9) Livelihoods and others.

Modules can be taken as standalones, or together as part of an accredited course of at least 5 modules (out of an optional 8).
