What you need to know about the conference:

The 8th Annual Virtual Conference on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in Schools provides an opportunity to share the latest research and programming from around the world. The virtual conference is expected to bring together online over 1,000 participants from around the world.

This year’s theme, Innovation in MHM: Putting Girls at the Center, aims to highlight examples of programs that found new ways to identify and address barriers to safe and dignified MHM for girls in schools. Apart from innovations in products, services and facilities, this also includes novel, inclusive ways to end menstrual stigma and empower girls with knowledge and skills to manage their menstruation.

There are different ways to participate and contribute:

  1. Participate by submitting an abstract until 23 February (link)

  2. Share your experience in the pre-conference online discussions in the eight weeks leading up to the conference (link). A synthesis of this discussion will be presented during the conference.
  3. Join the virtual conference on 02 April and use the chat box to interact with presenters and other participants (link).
