Dialogue in Agriculture

Together with a diverse range of partners, CABI has been implementing development communication programmes in multiple countries around the world. For the last seven years, we have been implementing the Africa Soil Health Consortium (ASHC) project and the Plantwise programme. The programmes have used a combination of intervention approaches and services to increase farmer productivity, resilience and access to markets in over 30 countries. This meeting reflects on the lessons to emerge from that work.

The event will bring together thought leaders from organizations with extensive experience implementing communication programmes with small-holder farmers in developing countries. We are also keen to hear from those working in other sectors who have lessons that are of relevance to rural development.
