MakeCity 2018 Festival: Cities for People? Making City and the Civic Economy Discussion

Beyond bottom-up vs top-down thinking, this event will look at new alliances between civic society and city governments that help develop working tools for affordable housing, and work towards socially viable and diverse cities. What is the key to participatory urban policies? How can an empowered civic society, actively involved in urban development, also influence the question of new social contracts for cities?

These topics will be discussed with mayors and representatives of reformist European cities.
