The Thomson Reuters Foundation, in partnership with OPEN Pride, will host a special event exploring the role of the media in reporting on LGBT+ people. The event marks the UK launch of Openly, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s digital platform for LGBT+ news aimed at a global audience.
Keynote: Dustin Lance Black, Filmmaker & Academy Award-winning writer of Milk
A panel discussion will follow, featuring LGBT+ activists from around the world sharing their personal experiences of how the media affects the daily lives of LGBT+ people.
