I am an energetic Communication Sciences graduate, specialising in Communication for Development, with 3 years of extensive experience managing and delivering communications strategies and social media campaigns in the charity sector. I possess a strong passion for social change through content generation and am eager to pursue a career in this area. Following my passion for communication for development, content generation, and digital communications, I commenced a communications internship at the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC) in London. In this role, I innovatively deliver and manage a wide range of communications campaigns and activities to promote BHRRC’s global work. I often identify communications projects independently, including infographic design, video editing and social media campaigns through which I convey complex information in a clear and concise way, modifying the tone and style according to each platform. I have started new projects with more responsibility such as creating and managing the Spanish social media channels, producing my own social media campaign for International Women’s Day, and creating engaging videos to promote BHRRC’s work. My position as Community Activism Volunteer Assistant at the Latin American Women’s Service, I have increased my experience working in advocacy projects focused on migration and gender issues – specifically VAWG. My tasks included researching, planning and delivering workshops for women’s groups, as well as creating engaging digital and visual content for the community. As a result, I successfully produced a video encouraging inclusive language in an intercultural environment. I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, which can be demonstrated throughout my professional and personal experience. I strongly believe that having lived in different parts of the world will give me a revolutionary perspective that will enrich the teams I work in.
