Jointly Developed: Factsheet – Information Overload

This fact sheet addresses the question of ‘What happens when people have too much information about a problem that makes it difficult to identify a solution?’  During an epidemic, there are often confusion and rumours. People get a lot of different information from media, friends, family, social media, organizations or other sources. Some of these sources may give conflicting information. This fact sheet provides discussion points for community workers, volunteers and community networks.
