Theatre for a Change (TfaC) is excited to announce a new opportunity for individuals interested in receiving facilitation training in TfaC’s unique methodology for gender equality and social change.
Through the ‘Foundations of TfaC Facilitator Training,’ participants will explore the theory and practice behind TfaC’s methodology, and develop basic facilitation skills in TfaC’s methodology including story devising, sculpting, improvisation, and interactive touch tag. Participants will also be supported to develop their own reflective learning practice in relation to TfaC’s facilitation approach.
The training will be limited to ten participants to ensure maximum interaction between participants, and between the participants and the trainer.
The training will be delivered through a series of 12 two-hour online workshops over a period of four weeks. The exact training schedule will be determined once the training group has been formed. The training will be delivered entirely online via Zoom.
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive TfaC’s ‘Foundations of Facilitation’ certification, and will be eligible to progress to further levels of facilitation training in specific areas of TfaC’s work, like Interactive Radio Drama. They will also be eligible to join TfaC’s community of practice on Slack made up of facilitators using TfaC’s methodology from around the world.
